Comprehensive Eye Exams

Regular eye exams are crucial for everyone, irrespective of age or health. These exams not only establish your prescription for glasses or contacts, but also screen for eye diseases, assess teamwork between your eyes, and provide insights into your overall health.

Eye Disease Management

Your eyes keep changing with every year that goes by, and this affects vision. We can detect these changes and identify eye conditions or diseases early enough to treat and prevent vision loss. Whether you have diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, cataracts, or macular degeneration, we're here to help you maintain the best vision and eye health possible.

Myopia Management

Myopia significantly increases the risk of developing sight-threatening eye diseases later in life, such as cataracts, glaucoma, retinal detachment and macular degeneration. The higher your child's myopia, the greater the risk. Myopia control can help manage your child's risk of eye disease later in life.

Dry Eyes

Dry eye syndrome occurs when tear production and drainage are not in balance. People with dry eyes either do not produce enough tears or their tears are of poor quality. The result? Unpleasant symptoms, including itching, burning, redness, watery eyes, excessive tearing-and even eye pain. Without treatment or proper medication, DES can worsen over time.

Contact Lenses

A wide selection of contact lenses which include disposable soft contact, bifocal/multifocal, toric, and colored lenses. Whether you wear daily, weekly or monthly disposables, or conventional (vial) lenses, check out our selection.

Scleral Lenses

Scleral contact lenses are rigid gas permeable lenses with an extra-wide diameter. As opposed to traditional contacts, scleral lenses vault over the entire cornea, leaving a gap between the lens and the corneal surface before coming to rest on the white part of your eye (your sclera). They're custom fit, providing more comfortable, clear, and improved vision.

Patient Reviews

I experienced a very thorough eye exam at Ives Eyecare. In addition to being checked for eyeglass prescription needs, eye pressure was checked and pictures were taken of the interior of my eyes to access overall eye health. Dr. Alexa Ives explained the results of these pictures clearly and thoroughly. At the end of my appointment, I felt very comfortable that all of my eyecare needs were met.
